Know where to look, who to ask and what details to share

Overview

Most Studio messages explain what needs to change, and the guides cover the most common situations in detail. This guide explains where to look first, when to ask your Studio administrator and how to contact Cat Media with the details needed to resolve an issue quickly.

What this helps you do

  • Find the right guide for a message or question.
  • Know who can help with access, connections and set-up.
  • Share the details support needs, without sending unnecessary data.

Start with the guides

Ask a Studio administrator

Studio administrators manage portal connections and staff access. Ask them when:

  • A portal is missing from Choose an account, or you need access to another portal.
  • Automated ingestion is unavailable for a portal.
  • The Studio reports that a portal needs to be reconnected.

Contact Cat Media

Email support@catmedia.ie when:

  • A portal can't be connected to the Studio.
  • You'd like AI header mapping or name splitting enabled for your workspace.
  • A message continues after you've followed the troubleshooting guidance.
  • You'd like Cat Media to manage preparation, review and delivery for you.

What to include

  • Portal ID: Shown in the portal selector and in Portal details in Settings.
  • Import name: As it appears in import history.
  • The message: The exact wording, and the step where it appears, such as Map, Review or Progress.
  • Delivery path: Whether the import uses Prepare files only or Automated ingestion.
  • What you expected: What you were trying to do and what happened instead.

Don't attach source files or exports containing personal data unless Cat Media asks for them.

Why it matters

Complete details help Cat Media find the right import and resolve the issue sooner. For automated imports, check what HubSpot has already completed before trying again. Starting the same import twice can create duplicate records.

What to do next

  • Find out who your Studio administrators are, so colleagues know who to ask about access.
  • Read Data Ingestion Studio FAQs to learn how the Studio handles your data.
